Some contestants were left dead and others walked away. Just before dawn some contestants were shot dead.
A man killed himself when a gun was fired through the window of his hotel room during a series of challenges broadcast live on the ITV show Sunday Night Line.
In the aftermath of the incident many people were left questioning whether or not the show would go ahead.
“We’ve been filming all day and then all of a sudden there was a body in the room,” a producer told ITV. “Obviously it’s a very distressing thing to happen and people are trying to get information.”
But shortly before 10am after a discussion about who was next, the producers decided to bring the show to an end with the dramatic finale. “It was something that they had to decide to call it quits,” the producer added.
